West Carrollton firefighters continued their efforts to keep students safe Tuesday by setting up in school zones. Crews set up in school zones outside Harry Russell Elementary and Walter Shade Early Childhood Center with a banner to remind drivers to slow down and pay attention. It was the first day back for West Carrollton students, and the fire chief said he hopes the fire engines will catch drivers’ attention and get the message across.
