Are Cincinnati police better bowlers than Cincinnati firefighters? We'll find out this weekend at the first annual Battle of the First Responders. The competition will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Madison Bowl - and it's all for a good cause. Proceeds from the fundraiser are going to police and fire memorials. Mike Rea, one of the owners of Madison Bowl, said he came up with the idea for a bowling challenge to honor fallen Officer Sonny Kim and Firefighter Daryl Gordon. Officer Kim stopped by the bowling alley for breakfast in a diner located in the back almost everyday that he worked. Kim's shooting death in the line of duty in June 2015 still hits the business owners hard, and they miss those morning visits. So does the March 2015 on-duty death of Firefighter Gordon, another frequent face at the bowling alley.
