A stretch of Hudson Drive SW was closed southeast of Navarre to allow firefighters access to and from a home that caught fire earlier Wednesday morning.
The temporary closure of Hudson Drive is between Brinker Street SW and Kemary Avenue SW. Multiple fire departments responded to the blaze at 7415 Hudson Drive SW, where a tractor was reported on fire near a farm house about 8:20 a.m. by two motorists driving on the road. A dispatcher for the Erie Valley Fire Department, the lead agency at the scene, said the fire apparently spread to the home, which was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
The dispatcher said there were no reported injuries. Heavy damage was reported to the home, in addition to an attached building.
The fire was deemed under control at 10:10 a.m.
