A street on Youngstown's East Side was shut down early Wednesday while crews battled a house fire. Firefighters called to the 1100 block of Stiles Avenue at around 3:30 am found flames pouring from the home. The home was destroyed, so crews worked to keep the flames from spreading to a neighboring home. Stiles Avenue is shut down between McGuffey Road and Kimmel Street until the fire can be brought under control.
