The Cincinnati Fire Department paid tribute downtown to some of the firefighters who work to keep everyone in the Queen City safe everyday. Some of those honored on Friday night saved people from burning buildings. Others saved people in devastating crashes. Some dealt with victims of heart attacks, including firefighters both on and off-duty. A University of Cincinnati doctor who happened to be driving by an accident scene who stopped to help a child who was thrown from the car was also honored. The tribute was also to those who calmly, and professionally, saved lives during the Cameo Night Club shooting. The event has been going on for seven years now and Local 12's Rob Braun says that he has been proud to have been a part of every one.
