Toledo Firefighters are monitoring a controlled burn after a home went up in flames early Friday morning. Firefighters were called out around 3:00 AM to the home located at 28 West Pearl Street. The home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. A woman on scene tells 13abc she lived at the home and returned from work to find it on fire. No injuries are reported. Firefighters are working to stop the flames from spreading to the neighboring homes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
