Firefighters in Huber Heights were able to put out a fire outside a home quickly Monday morning, thanks to the homeowner's surveillance camera. Lt. Andy Rammel said the homeowners received an alert on their cellphones, letting them know something was wrong. The homeowner checked the camera, saw fire outside the house and called 911. Firefighters arrived at the home on Farmborough Drive around 10 a.m. and were able to contain the fire to outside the home. It's unclear at this time what caused the fire. No one was home at the time and no one was hurt. Lt. Rammel said the home sustained minimal damage.
