Fifty-six-year-old Louis Meager died in a house fire Tuesday night in the St. Joe neighborhood between Bellaire and Neffs. The fire broke out a little before 9 p.m. The house is considered a total loss. Multiple fire departments were on the scene, including Neffs, OR&W, and Cumberland Trail. The state fire marshal is also investigating.
