A fire at a Kent apartment complex heavily damaged one apartment and caused damage to at least two more in the building. The fire occurred at about 12:08 p.m. Thursday at 1995 Mohawk Place at Indian Valley Apartments in Kent. Luke Dalton, one of the two occupants of the apartment, said the fire started on the second-floor bedroom of the apartment when another man tried to light a cigarette while he had an oxygen mask on.
