An Akron firefighter is facing assault charges for shooting another man. According to Akron Police, 31-year-old Enrique Green was turned into the Akron Police station with his attorney Friday morning. Police say Green was visiting a woman last Friday around 4 a.m. at the 700 block of McKinley Avenue when the woman's ex-boyfriend showed up. The two men began to argue and the ex-boyfriend attempted to throw a brick at Green. Green fired one shot at the man, striking him on the shoulder.
