Toledo Firefighters are working to figure out what cause a home to go up in flames Friday morning. Firefighters were called out around 5:00 a.m. to a home located at 1277 Blum Street near Nebraska. The battalion chief on scene tells 13abc they battled heavy smoke and flames upon arrival. The battalion chief added that a power line fell onto the house and Toledo Edison was needed to turn off electricity to the house. The home appears to be vacant and no injuries are reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
