Elyria Police Department is investigating after finding the burned body of a woman in a garage Sunday afternoon. Elyria Fire Department originally responded to the call around 2 p.m. for a garage fire in the 200 block of 5th Street. When on scene, crews found the body of the woman inside the garage. The woman has been identified as 46-year-old Octavia Garza of Lorain. The Elyria Police Department Detective Bureau and Elyria Fire Department Arson investigators are investigating.
