Firefighters are investigating what caused a house fire early Tuesday morning. Crews responded at 4:24 a.m. to Gilbert Street and Stanley Avenue on a report of a fire. Officials say when firefighters arrived they found smoke and flames coming from the home. Firefighters were able to put the fire out a short time later and an investigator has been called to the scene to investigate, according to the fire chief on the scene.
