Three dogs were rescued from a house fire at 132 Nichols St., Fostoria, early this morning. Chief Brian Herbert of Fostoria Fire Division said the damage mostly was to a rear exterior corner of the house, but the fire extended inside. No one lived in the house, he said. The fire is under investigation, and State Fire Marshal’s Office has been contacted.
