The Kids Country daycare center on Town Park Boulevard is closed after a portion of the building caught fire Wednesday night.
No injuries were reported.
“Some of you may already be aware, the back of our building caught fire this evening,” the daycare center posted on its Facebook page. “No children were in the building, it happened after hours. Due to this, we will be closed for business tomorrow and Friday.”
Kids Country urged parents to make other arrangements.
Green firefighters responded to the blaze at 6:46 p.m. and had the fire under control in about 10 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
