The Loveland Symmes Fire Department battled a fire on Friday morning in the city of Loveland.
When they arrived, crews say they saw flames coming out of the roof of the residence.
Everyone inside the home was able to escape safely, but they could not find the family dog. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames quickly, and then they located the pet, who was miraculously uninjured.
"A special thanks to Loveland Police Department, Deerfield-Township Fire Rescue, Goshen Township Fire Department, City of Mason Fire Department, and The City of Montgomery Fire Department for their assistance with this incident," said the Loveland Fire Department in their Facebook post.
