Springfield Township firefighters responded to a report of a “water rescue” in the Mill Creek early Wednesday. A man was walking on Summit Road near Section Road about 3 a.m. when he became disoriented and fell down the hill into the Mill Creek, according to the Springfield Township Fire Department. When fire crews arrived, they found him on the side of the Mill Creek but unable to get back up the hill. So they said they went down and helped him up. The man was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center at his request for an evaluation, according to fire officials. First responders cleared the scene by 4 a.m.
