VIDEO - A three-alarm fire that started late Monday night destroyed a Lebanon golf club's 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, fire officials said. They estimated damage at $1.3 million. The fire was reported at 11:37 p.m. Monday at the Mallard Creek Golf Course & RV Resort, 31966 Bellinger Scale Road, said Lebanon Fire District spokesman Jon Davis. The golf club is 25 miles east of Corvallis. Firefighters arrived to find the clubhouse, which contains a restaurant, lounge and pro shop, fully involved in flames. "Water supplies were an issue so we called in extra firefighters and water tankers from mutual aid departments,'' Davis said. Responding departments included crews from Scio, Albany, Tanget, Sweet Home and Brownsville.
