A Klamath Falls man has been sentenced to four years in prison after accepting a plea deal for attempting to burn down a local tavern. Christopher Dennis Buckley, 46, was sentenced Monday to 48 months in prison for an incident June 27 in which he tried to burn down the Playhouse Tavern while the building was occupied. Buckley will receive credit for time served and for the completion of treatment programs. Once released on post-prison supervision, he will be allowed no contact with the victims or the tavern. Attempted murder charges against Buckley were dismissed Wednesday after he pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree arson and felon in possession of a firearm.
