A fire sparked by an outdoor light fixture burned the exterior of the DoubleTree hotel in Salem on Monday night, firefighters said. Firefighters were called to the hotel at 1590 Weston Court NE at about 9:30 p.m. Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire. The light fixture was on the fourth floor.
