The City of Grants Pass is asking its residents for continued support on a police and fire levy.
As of now that tax allows for round the clock response from emergency personnel.
Measure 17-83 is the only item on the Josephine County ballot and it asks Grants Pass residents to continue funding neighborhood patrols, criminal investigations, fire rescue, drug enforcement and more.
Safety is a main concern for city council members, this is why they say they stand behind the levy.
