Firefighters responded to a residential fire in Beaverton Saturday afternoon. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue said crews responded to a report of smoke coming from a home at 3:45 p.m. on Wheaton Lane. When firefighters arrived, they searched the home and found the bulk of the fire was in the attic and an exterior wall. They attacked the fire aggressively and knocked in down in less than 20 minutes. The house suffered minor smoke, fire and water damage they said. All occupants and pets made it out safely.
