Firefighters rescued 3 pet ferrets from an apartment fire Monday afternoon. The fire at 12:46 p.m. displaced an adult, a child and their pets, the Red Cross said. "Crews were able to save three pet ferrets today on the scene of an apartment fire," Eugene Springfield Fire said Monday. "Father and daughter were thrilled that crews were able to save the beloved pets."
