A fire broke out in the bedroom of a 10200 block Homedale Road residence Tuesday evening and no one was harmed.
Kingsley firefighter Rees Thomas said Kingsely Field Fire Department and Klamath County Fire District 1 responded to the fire. Thomas said it was probably out within 30 minutes, and 12-15 firefighters responded.
“It was a pretty run-of the mill, hose in the front door kind of thing,” Thomas said.
Fire officials said it was a “room and contents” fire, and that it hadn’t burnt far past the back corner bedroom where it began. As of Tuesday night, they had not yet determined the cause of the fire.
