Firefighters helped a driver trapped in a vehicle in snowy conditions early Thursday morning. Crews from Columbia River Fire and Rescue and Scappoose responded to the report of a pickup truck in a tree. They tweeted about the incident at 1:13 a.m. The crash occurred on Cater Road in Rural Columbia County. Crews closed the road and worked for over an hour to free the driver from the vehicle.
