Firefighters put out a fire Saturday night at an abandoned building in Northeast Portland, marking the second commercial fire at the location this year. Investigators with Portland Fire & Rescue are still trying to find out what sparked the fire at Club Playpen on Columbia Boulevard. Crews arrived at the scene around 10 p.m. and searched the structure, initially concerned someone might have been inside. There were no reports of injuries. Crews were called out to douse a similar fire in January at the same location.
