Emergency crews are at the scene of a “very serious” single-vehicle crash outside St. Helens, Columbia River Fire & Rescue said.
The crash was reported before 4 p.m. near the intersection of Millard and Ross roads, which is west of Highway 30.
Initial reports state that the driver was going fast, lost control of their vehicle, went off the road, and crashed into a tree.
Responding firefighters had to cut off the car's roof to extricate two of the people in the car; a third managed to crawl out of the vehicle.
All three people involved were taken to trauma hospitals in the Portland area; no word on their current condition.
