Local fire crews searching for a missing 3-year-old girl called along the Susquehanna River have called off their search, but the Fish & Boat Commission is expected back on scene on Thursday. A firefighter said crews used all their resources, including cadaver dogs, to look for Madelyn Binkley, but were unable to find her. They left the boat launch area in Steelton early Thursday morning. Binkley was with her parents when their boat capsized around 10 p.m. Monday. Mary Bredbenner, Madelyn's mother, was found dead downstream near the Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge. Cody Binkley, 26, was able to reach the shore near the PennDOT building at 1011 South Front Street in Harrisburg. He was hospitalized for treatment of hypothermia.
