A mobile home on Douglas Road, New Millport, is a total loss following a fire Monday morning.
Rescue Hose & Ladder Vol. Fire Co. Chief Shawn Fye said the call came in at 8:04 a.m. and the fire was under control at 8:39 a.m. He said the owner’s name and whether the structure was insured is unknown at this time. Fye added that a State Police fire marshal was called to investigate. No one was in the trailer at the time of the fire.
In addition to Rescue Hose & Ladder, volunteer firefighters from Lawrence Township’s Hyde and Glen Richey fire stations, as well as Clearfield Station 1, Grampian-Penn-Bloom and Madera assisted.
