VIDEO: Multiple people were killed when a police chase ended in a crash on Route 322 in Boothwyn, Delaware County, Action News has learned.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday as troopers were reportedly attempting to pull over a red sedan.
Police radio traffic indicates the suspects were wanted for a theft from a Lululemon, which has a store located about five miles up the road from the crash site in Concord Township.
"[Pennsylvania State Police] is in pursuit of a red Taurus, tinted windows, for a theft on Lululemon," a dispatcher can be heard saying over the radio.
Authorities say the driver fled the traffic stop and then didn't heed the lights or sirens.
"They're doing about 110 miles per hour last seen on Route 322," another audio transmission stated.
At some point the vehicle, with seven people reportedly inside, crashed on Route 322 near Chichester Avenue.
