Attorneys representing the Coventry Fire District board resign

Attorneys representing the Coventry Fire District board have resigned. The Law Offices of Inman, Tourgee and WiIlamson sent a letter Tuesday to Board Chairman Frank Palin. The board Monday decided not to lay off the district’s 16 firefighters. At Monday’s meeting Palin said the district had about $24,000 left in the bank.
