Crews from multiple fire districts worked together Thursday to knock down a house fire in Little Compton. According to Chief Richard Petrin, the home on West Main Road was occupied when flames broke out around 4 p.m. The chief said there were no hydrants in the area so they had to use tankers for water. Several neighboring departments were called in for mutual aid. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
