Firefighters knock down blaze in East Providence

East Providence Firefighters were on the scene of South Blossom Street early Friday morning after a fire broke out in a triple decker just after 5 a.m. The fire was put out around 6:30 a.m. and the authorities tell NBC 10 News everyone made it out safely but one woman was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Firefighters will remain on scene to monitor hot spots. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
