Following what some described as a heated argument, the Manville Fire District may be losing some of its elected board members at the district’s annual meeting rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Problems began on Sept. 13, the night the scheduled annual meeting was cancelled when some complained it wasn’t posted correctly.
According to onlookers, Chairman Bob Lake announced his resignation that night, but he has since told The Breeze he would continue to serve the district as a warden if elected, instead.
