Cumberland Fire Chief: Buildings alarm system was not maintained

Crews in Cumberland battled a fire early Friday morning. It happened around 7:30 a.m. at a building on Hines Road. According to Cumberland Fire Chief Kenneth Finlay, the building had an alarm system but it was not properly maintained. Finlay said that the visible fire was knocked down by 7:30 a.m.
