Rhode Island Municipal Fire Academy Graduates 12 Trainees

Three new firefighters are ready to join Central Coventry's crews. Col. Ann C. Assumpico, director of the state public safety department of , announces that 12 firefighter trainees from five communities graduated from the Rhode Island Municipal Fire Academy on Friday, Nov. 17, after a nine-week training and certification program. The graduation ceremony was held at the Rhode Island Fire Training Academy in Exeter. The ceremony honored the 12 new firefighters from five districts, including five from Barrington; three from Central Coventry; one from Cumberland; one from Nasonville; and two from West Warwick.
