A fire broke out Tuesday morning in a home in Providence. Firefighters responded to 216 Summit Ave. at about 7 a.m. and had the flames knocked down in about 40 minutes. No one was home, and no injuries were reported. Pictures from the scene showed fire damage to the side of the building and windows on the first and second floors knocked out. Officials at the scene said most of the damage was inside the house.
