One firefighter was injured and six people are displaced from their home after a fire tore through their multi-family house just after midnight Sunday. When crews arrived to the home on Lester Street, they saw fire coming from the first floor and heavy smoke throughout the building. "Crews made an aggressive interior attack," said Acting Deputy Asst. Chief Kevin Jutras. "There was heavy fire involvement on the first floor with extension up to the second floor." Jutras also said a rookie firefighter suffered serious burns to his ears and face. "It was significant burns, they were second and third degree burns to his ears. He's got one year on the job so this was I believe his first significant fire being on the nozzle being on the fire with his officer right next to him."
