The fire district has welcomed a new truck into its fleet.
Chief Don Rathbone and members of the Chalrestown Fire District took receipt of a new 2018 Pierce Enforcer pumper truck on Sept. 6. The truck, purchased through Minuteman Fire and Rescue Apparatus Inc., features a 1,000 gallon tank and Hale Midship pumper capable of pumping 1,500 gallons per minute, according to the company's website.
The truck will be fit with appropriate equipment and join the department's fleet immediately.
