3 juveniles in custody after Lyman mill fire

Tyger River Fire Department officials confirmed three juveniles were taken into custody following a fire at the historic Lyman mill. Chief James Redd said firefighters responded to mill, located at 14 Pacific St., around 6:10 p.m. Wednesday. Three juveniles were seen running from the building around the same time the fire was reported. Redd said those juveniles were apprehended and were being interviewed by investigators. Tyger River along with Duncan, Startex and North Spartanburg fire crews put out the fire. Redd said it took around an hour and 30 minutes to clear the scene. No injuries were reported.
