Firefighters with the City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Department and the Burton Fire District responded to a report of a vehicle collision at approximately 0745 this morning. The collision occurred at the intersection of Savannah Highway and Baynard Road in the Town of Port Royal. Arriving units found two vehicles involved with three occupants. All occupants were evaluated by fire personnel and Beaufort County EMS for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries and transported for further medical evaluation. “The scene was spread out over a large distance,” said the first arriving fire officer, Lt.
