Fire early today destroyed a vacant singlewide mobile home at 60 Benbow Road.
A passerby called in the fire about 5 a.m. this morning, sheriff’s deputies said in a report. The singlewide mobile home was “completely engulfed” in flames when deputies arrived.
The trailer is just outside Greeneville city limits toward Old Knoxville Highway, according to 911 Dispatch. Firefighters from Mosheim, Midway and Orebank fought the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The yard and driveway were overgrown with vegetation, the report said.
