The Flower Mound Fire Department has a new arson investigator.
"Her name is Ziva," said Fire Prevention Officer Jason Bolejack. "She's a two-year-old black lab."
Ziva is trained to sniff out 61 different types of accelerants, from gasoline to alcohol.
"She associates the smell with her food," Bolejack said.
He is her primary handler, and the two just returned from a month of training together in New Hampshire. A State Farm grant funded the new addition to the department.
