The roof collapsed during a fire at a business in Dalhart.
Around 2:10 p.m. Monday, the Dalhart Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Dallam Irrigation.
When the first unit arrived on scene, flames and heavy smoke were visible.
Dalhart Fire responded with eight units. Hartley and Texline provided mutual aid.
"This fire was hot enough to warp the red iron in the structure," said DVFD.
That caused the roof to collapse within minutes of firefighters arriving on scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
