For years fire officials in the polygamist cities of Hildale, Utah, and Colorado City, Arizona, have been fighting a battle against what's believed to be a group of FLDS children who are lighting piles of rubber tires in the middle of community roads. Colorado City/Hildale Fire Chief Kevin Barlow said they've received multiple calls a year concerning this issue, more this year so far. The southern Utah news team witnessed one of these fires recently. This time it was lit on a main highway, Highway 59 and it stopped traffic for about 30 minutes until fire crews could clear the scene.
