The Tremonton Fire Department has been built by caring, compassionate, honorable people. This year, the department’s Firefighter of the Year Award goes to one of its longtime, dedicated members, Blair Westergard. According to a proclamation from Fire Chief Steve Batis, Westergard joined the department in 1983 and “has never wavered in his commitment or dedication to the department. He has been at the top of the call sheet year after year and has served in all positions. He has played a major role in shaping the department to what it is today.”
