Reward offered for information about July 14 fire in Mill Creek Canyon

Bureau of Land Management rangers and the Grand County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a case of suspected arson in Mill Creek Canyon. The blaze, which burned a small area of grass and brush near the Mill Creek power dam parking lot, occurred sometime after midnight on Friday, July 14. A local nonprofit organization — Moab Solutions — is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual, or individuals, responsible for starting the blaze.
