The body of a man was recovered from the rubble of a Cedar City house fire Sunday night, officials say. The house was in the Fiddlers Canyon area of Cedar City at 4:47 p.m. in the area of 2200 N Red Cedar Circe. The Cedar City Police Department, Cedar City Fire Department, and Gold Cross Ambulance arrived within four minutes to find a residential home fully engulfed in flames. Officers attempted contact at the home and did not receive any response, therefore, they shut off the gas and power to the home. The fire department started working on the fire as officers evacuated neighboring homes. Hours later, while in the process of removing rubble, a man's body was found inside the home, Sgt. Clint Pollock with the Cedar City Police Dept. said.
