VIDEO: Talk about timing. A Washington County sheriff's deputy responding to a call about a roadside birth arrived with seconds to spare before a baby girl made her entrance into this world Tuesday evening. In less than a minute, firefighters and emergency medical services arrived. The Sheriff's Office shared the story and dashboard camera video on social media, adding that they did so with the parents' permission. A couple called 911 around 5:40 p.m. Tuesday saying their baby was coming — quickly. The woman was in labor, and they were pulled off state Route 59 near Sheeps Bridge Road waiting for help. The deputy pulled up to their truck, put on protective gear and immediately assisted as the mother gave birth.
