PHOTO: An adult, three children and four dogs escaped a house fire Wednesday afternoon, according to tweets from the Ogden Fire Department. Seventeen firefighters from Ogden and Northview fire departments were dispatched at 12:43 p.m. to 335 Adams Ave., where crews reported heavy flames, according to tweets from OFD. “Crews initially were in a defensive strategy, but have now transitioned to an offensive strategy,” according to an OFD tweet. The fire, which was extinguished at approximately 1:20 p.m., caused an estimated $100,000 in damages to the home. Crews stayed on scene to perform salvage and overhaul procedures, according to OFD tweets.
